May 7 Was a Global Giving Bonus Day!

Wednesday, May 7 was a Global Giving Bonus Day! Gifts to EESI on the Global Giving charity platform went 30 percent further. Eleven of you helped us raise almost $1,000, including more than $200 in bonus funds, to educate Congress on energy and climate change.

The money raised will go toward informing Congress about climate change impacts and solutions through our fact sheets, newsletters and other outreach channels. EESI's well-regarded briefings, such as our overview of the National Climate Assessment, will also benefit from any support received. EESI is organizing a series of briefings on the impacts of climate change on regions throughout the United States.

More than 120 people have raised more than $21,000 since EESI joined Global Giving. By raising an additional $4,000, EESI will qualify for the SuperStar level, which will allow us to broaden our exposure and raise more funds to address climate change. Thank you so much!
