Do you have a donor-advised fund (DAF) or charitable giving account? Put it to work for climate change action!

Donor-advised funds are a great way to advance climate solutions with urgency. Even at this moment of hyperpartisanship and bad feelings, bipartisan solutions abound!  And you can further them with your DAF grant today!


The #HalfMyDAF Challenge

The nationwide #HalfMyDAF challenge was created to encourage DAF owners like you to grant out half the funds in your DAFs to power the causes you care so much about. 

Please consider granting out half of the funds in your DAF by Thursday, June 18. 

By doing so, you will put your DAF funds to work at an important moment for climate solutions. Plus, you will increase the chances of EESI receiving a dollar-for-dollar match of up to $25,000.

By unleashing the power of your DAF now for climate solutions, you will:

  • Ensure the production of essential, nonpartisan resources on hot topics like:
  • Enable EESI to reach a growing fraction of Congressional offices (almost two-thirds so far, and growing each week).
     
  • Help prepare tomorrow’s leaders with EESI’s paid internship and scholarship programs.

To take the #HalfMyDAF challenge: 

1. Grant out half the funds currently in your DAF to your favorite charities, including EESI. By doing so, you will accelerate equitable, science-based climate solutions. Why wait for later to meet the challenges of climate change happening now?

2. Fill out this user-friendly form and submit proof of your grant to the organizers of the #HalfMyDAF challenge.
