Over the course of the next year or so, the 2023 Farm Bill will take shape on Capitol Hill. Roughly every five years, Congress passes a Farm Bill, covering a wide range of issues from conservation to rural development to food and nutrition. Since the 2018 Farm Bill will expire in 2023, Congress is in the process of holding hearings to inform the next iteration of the bill.
