Highlights:

The Senate passed the Wetlands Conservation and Access Improvement Act of 2025 (H.R.2316). Reps. Jeff Hurd (R-Colo.) and Sarah Elfreth (D-Md.) introduced the bill to continue to channel funding from hunting sales toward wildlife restoration efforts. The House passed its version of the bill in July. 

Rep. Wesley Bell (D-Mo.) introduced the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Operations Continuity Act of 2025 (H.R.5794) with cosponsors Reps. Seth Moulton (D-Mass.) and Cleo Fields (D-La.). Reps. Joe Neguse (D-Colo.) and Celeste Maloy (R-Utah) introduced H.R.5823. The bill, if passed, provides the Secretary of Agriculture with the authority to implement emergency watershed protection measures on National Forest System land.
