On October 26, 2007, the Environmental and Energy Study Institute (EESI) held a Congressional briefing sponsored by The Center for Small Business and the Environment (CSBE) and the National Small Business Association (NSBA) on "Silver Buckshot" initiatives for combating global warming. "Silver Buckshot" initiatives produce incremental solutions, aggregate many small gains, and secure immediate greenhouse gas emission reductions. Small business - the decentralized half of the American economy - offers countless opportunities for "silver buckshot" initiatives. Several are already underway and were discussed at the briefing.
