EESI has received an array of spectacular reviews for its work on sustainable energy—nearly all reviewers have given us Five Stars, the highest rating. EESI's reviews complimented a range of its activities, including its congressional briefings, research, and newsletters, as well as the fantastic learning opportunities it provides through the Richard L. Ottinger internship program.

One reviewer writes, "After 4 years in the environmental field, I have yet to see any group of people devote the amount of time, energy, research, and standard of excellence that EESI delivers on a daily basis. They are a constant presence on the Hill and in the offices of Senators and Congressman on both sides of the aisle." Another complimented EESI's ability to "pull diverse groups of people together, public and private; national, regional, or state; left, right, or middle; to lay the foundation for widespread adoption of clean energy and energy efficiency." The 2012 top-rated list will be featured this holiday season in media outlets such as the Huffington Post, TakePart, and Parade Magazine. The list will also be distributed to over 2,000 corporate foundations.
